If I take my last dose of methadone on a Monday, when will I be able to feel the effects of hydrocodone?
I take 120 mg of methadone each day. However, i am about to run out of medicine. I have some hydrocodone. I know that methadone blocks the effects of hydrocodone. I want to know when i could expect the methadone to be out of my system so that the hydrocodone will be effective. Also, is there anything I can do to " help" flush the methadone from my system?

well i am on methadone for a habbit i got while useing codeine phosphate for a broken ankle.. that was nearly 2 years ago, so im cumin down off the methadone now and will be off it by the time i apply for the marines, but will i still be allowed in?? because they will check my medical records and see ive been on it. i dont want to lie to them so i just need some advice first. thankyou in advance

Why would methadone show up in my urine test?
I see a pain specialist doctor for a back injury. Every six months I must give a urine sample, which is a dip stick test in office. On my last visit, marijuana was found as were two other prescription drugs of which I do not take. The doctor is now sending my urine to a lab to be tested. I am not worried the prescription drugs found as I do not take those however, I do smoke pot once in a while to help with pain control. I live in California but do not have a cannabis card. I am sure my doctor will put this in my report to my workers compensation carrier who pays for my doctor visits. Can the insurance company deny all further medical care due to my pot use? Any info would be greatly appreciated.Thanks,K.

please help.my boyfriend was herion addict for 12 years and has been clean for 3 years but was on methadone. he has stopped taking methadone since 2 days ago. he did reduce his dose slowly but stopped at 5ml or 10ml a day.not sure now. but anyway... he having bad cold turkey syptoms.. he wont talk to me alot about it because he knows i worry but what symptoms is he likely to be having and what can i do to help him and how long will this last?????i know he been aching in legs but thats all i know.. please help me i love him sooo much and cant bear to see him not hiself. i want to0 help him
